First Semester Reflection
Last semester I feel like the quality of some of my assignments were pretty good while others really didn't come out to what they were supposed to be. I feel like the ones that were really successful were ones where I come up with multiple ideas and paid extra attention to all of the details. Most of my work fulfilled the assignment even though I think some could have been better.
I definitely think that I could put in a bit more effort for some of the projects that require a bit more thought, or ones that I don't have any immediate ideas for. However, I think that I have put in more risk to some of the assignments and looking back I think those were the some of the better images I took. I try not to avoid photographic ideas that I perceive as difficult and instead try and find a different way to complete it, if my original idea is impossible or impractical.
Participation wise I am always on time to class and try to use class time as productively as possible. I often spend days where we are assigned new projects thinking of ideas and the best way to complete them.
For the second semester I want to take more risks in my photography to try and improve technically. Hopefully with the new camera my mother got for Christmas, I can explore more with settings to change the focus and the depth. I also really want to improve my confidence and maybe try some of my ideas that I usually just give up on because I'm worried they won't turn out the exact way I imagined. I also am definitely going to make sure that everything is actually on my blog instead of sitting in a folder on my desktop :)
